But, Yes this works on all editions of Minecraft since you should just be able to upload the skin image files from the folder. You can download the Java, Pocket, Legacy, etc version so it doesn’t have the bedrock JSON files.
You can also use this in other programs like Mine-Imator or a Minecraft Skin Editor if they support uploading skins.
